Factory Visit to FYLLO (M) Sdn Bhd

On 18th January 2023 (Wed), ERA organised a SME Factory Visit to a member company Fyllo (M) Shd Bhd in Subang Jaya, Selangor. Fyllo produces world first herbal products made from oil palm leave. A total of 14 members participated in this Factory Visit.

At 10.00am, all the participants arrived at the factory, and was welcomed by the company Managing Director, Mr. A Tiruselvan, who is also our ERA member. Mr Tiruselvan gave a good briefing on their company products. Fyllo’s main products are :

1. Oil Palm Leaf (OPAL) Herbal Tea, which is 8% higher contents of phenolic compound than green tea.
2. Antioxidant Spray, which can help neutralize free radicals and also can be used as insect repellent.
3. Oil Palm Leaf (OPAL) Foot Soak, which can help to mediate foot cramps and eliminates foot odors.
4. Oil Palm Leaf (OPAL) Soap, which is good for skin care.

After the briefing, Mr. Tiruselvan guided a very informative production line tour for the participants. The production line tour ended at about noon time, which then concluded the 2-hour visit. Great hospitality was felt as the participants were served with packed lunch at the end of the visit. Each participant was given a box of oil palm leaf herbal tea as gift.

This factory visit has generated so much interests and business opportunity networking (BON) discussions between Fyllo and participants and among the participants themselves
