We have celebrated our 25th anniversary in 2011 with a very successful fund-raising dinner. As a non-profit making organisation, just to survive a quarter century is no mean achievement. We have gone through lots of ups and downs and many challenges and I believe that it is due to the nobleness of our objectives and persevering dedication of the association’s office bearers that we have gone thus far.
ERA is setting an example to many other senior executives that giving time to share our expertise and experience with the new and younger entrepreneurs, especially those in the SME segment, is certainly a good way to contribute to a country’s economic development.
It is heartening to note that over the years, we have made our presence felt, not only locally but also overseas by running training courses, seminars and other programmes to enrich others by sharing our expertise, talent, skills and experiences. My heartiest congratulations to all!
There are challenges ahead. We need to enlarge our membership and widening our networking and it is my earnest hope that our members will hold fast to our noble objectives and be committed to serve as we solider on.
