ERA 35th Anniversary and Fund Raising Dinner

On 25^th February 2023, Saturday, ERA organized a memorable dinner event to celebrate its 35^th Anniversary. at the Royal Selangor Club (RSC), Jalan Raja, Kuala Lumpur. This 35^th anniversary dinner was also doubled up as a Fund-Raising dinner wherein the surplus of RM51,000-00 shall go towards the ERA Building Fund.

About a total of 170 ERA members together with guests, came for the dinner. ERA member, Mr Allen Cheong gave a Yoga Performance before the dinner, much to the amazement of members and guests. He is ERA’s Yoga Sifu who conducts weekly virtual yoga session for ERA members. Members and guests had a rousing happy time enjoying the delicious halal Chinese dinner at Restoran Ping Wah inside RSC.

Appreciation certificates were presented to recognize generous sponsors and donors who contributed to this event and to those who have contributed generously to ERA’s Trust Fund. There were also raffle draws during the dinner time, and prizes went to 17 lucky members/guests. The best Prize for the Raffle Draw was the free air ticket and hotel stay at Phuket donated by BMC Travel Sdn Bhd.

The auctioning of the President Signature Red Wine was one of the main excitements on that evening and the Organising Committee recorded great appreciation to the generous successful bidders Mr. Tan Kim Hai and Ms Eliza Cherry Chong.  The dinner ended successfully at about 10.30pm.

The main objective of this dinner is to raise fund to help the Association’s desire to acquire our own premise to better serve the members. For members who could not join this dinner can still contribute towards this Building Trust Fund.

The ERA Board and the Organising Committee led by Ms Ng Su Fun expressed their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all the ERA members, guests and the sponsors/donors for making our ERA 35^th Anniversary and Fund Raising Dinner event a successful and memorable occasion.
